Summer Sun & Lots of Fun!

Our Spring was a wonderful time and this Summer has great events to look forward to! 

For starters, we hosted our first ever ORLando Outpost event back on Saturday, May 9th, following Star Wars Day of May 4th. It was both an indoor & outdoor event at our amazing downtown partners restaurant, The Bao Spot. We hosted: our regular charity tournament outdoors in the patio area, some indoor Star Wars trivia, a cosplay contest for all ages with prizes, a donation-based door prize with some awesome contributions, PLUS an entirely immersive outdoor market with some incredible vendors and collaborators! We even invited the local Saber Guild temple and the local Droid Builders group to join us in the unique experience! It was truly a one-of-a-kind event and we’re very grateful for those that could join us, those that volunteered, and everyone else that was able to make this such a cool event. We want to say thank you to our market place partners: Project Luna Rock and Hans Pins. We’re especially grateful to our Jedi & Sith friends with Saber Guild’s Takodana Temple and our Southern R2 Droid Builders for walking around and really helping tie in the immersive experience. The saber fights and saber choreography lessons were great to watch too! We couldn’t have done it without the teamwork from The Bao Spot and the generosity of our volunteers for helping us set up, teach new players, and help us break it all down at the end of the night. Thank you to everyone that came dressed in cosplay and ready to have a good time. This event was a great success and we’re looking forward to the potential for another ORLando Outpost next year!

We have an upcoming event in July you won’t want to miss! Back by popular demand from very successful 2025 turnout, Sabacc For Charity is going back to Conduit! Saturday, July 25, 2026. Doors open at 5pm. Get one of the many custom, in-universe drinks provided by the Conduit's bar and join in the trivia game with excellent prizes from Multiversal Exports.Then play a few warmup games to get ready for the official charity tournament starting at 7pm. A cosplay contest will take place between the 1st and final rounds of the sabacc tournament. We are also excited to partner yet again with the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida as the benefiting charity. They do amazing work all over Central Florida and we are proud to be a helping hand in support of this organization giving back to our community most in-need.

Speaking of winning big, our S4C tournament at the ORLando Outpost, and at our upcoming Conduit event, are both opportunities to win points towards our World Tournament! If you haven’t participated in our world tourney yet, there’s still time to gain points AND there’s still time to win some awesome prizes! Our tournament spans from February to November. We have players from all parts of the world making this a planetary adventure you should totally consider being a part of! Players from the UK, Sweden, Poland, and Greece to name a few! If you can’t join us for the event at Conduit in FL, come find us at Rebel Scum Con again this year in Frisco, TX! We have thoroughly enjoyed the last 2 years at Rebel Scum so 3rd time’s the charm! We will have our immersive cantina all set up so anyone can join us for our charity tournament and free play activities. Our crew may be small but mighty when we fly to Texas but it’s a chance to make new friends, introduce sabacc to new players, and give Texas Hold’em a run for its money.
